Speaking : The Environment

What are we doing to our planet? That`s the question asking to us. Kenapa di meeting bab terakhir kita ini, Mr kasih kalian pertanyaan seperti itu? Yaps, because we`re going to talk about how to save our environment. It`s different dengan unit 7 kemarin, dimana Felipe and Maria sedang asyik ngobrol sembari menikmati keindahan luar angkasa (Space). Namun in this time, kita akan menyimak sebuah percakapan (Speaking) ke 4 anak remaja yang membicarakan tentang usaha mereka guna mengurangi pengaruh efek rumah kaca alias Global Warming after have a camping. Why is Flo Sad?

Flo        : "It`s the last day of camp fire. I`m sad."

Hannah : "Come on! Let`s clean up!"

--------  : "What are you going to do?

Maria   : "I`m going to collect the garbage."

Flo       : "And I`m going to help Maria."

Felipe  : "I`m going to turn off the lights in the kitchen. Then, I`m going to help Tom."

Tom      : "Yes, I`m going to recycle the bottles."

Felipe  : "Are you going to help, Hannah?"

Hannah : "Well, you all busy ... I`m going to watch."

My students nice to meet you again. I hope you all are alright. Unit 6 telah kita simak bersama sebuah percakapan alias Conversation about Arts and Entertainment. It`s different from the last Unit, in Unit 7 here kita akan menyimak percakapan antara; Felipe, and Maria. They are talking about Space. Can you see Tom and Flo?

Maria : "Felipe, why did you bring a telescope?"

Felipe : "I like to watch the stars at night. It`s much easier in the country."

Maria  : "Wow! What`s that big red light?"

Felipe : "Let me see. Where is it?"

Maria  : "Here, It`s amazing. Maybe it`s spaceship."

Felipe : "It isn`t a spaceship. It`s just a campfire on the hill."

Maria  : "Who is it?"

Felipe : "It`s Tom and Flo. Come on, let`s go!"

I`m coming, your English teacher. Have conversation time...!! We have studied Unit 5 : Trips, seru kan? Mr yakin kalian sudah mengunjungi the amusement park di daerah kalian masing-masing. Jika di unit 5, ke-4 teman kita sudah mengunjungi tempat hiburan (the amusement park). Right, to the point aja my beloved students pada Unit 6 kali ini kita akan menyimak sebuah percakapan antara Tom, Felipe, Hannah, Maria, and Flo yang membicarakan tentang pengalaman menonton sebuah film. What is Shadow in the House?

Felipe : "Hi, Maria!"

Maria   : "Hi guys! I just saw Shadow in the House by myself. It`s a scary thriller, but I had a great time!"

-------- : "There was something in the house. It wrote letters on the window."

-------- : "... and it made terrible noises ... "

Tom      : "Aaaah...!"

Felipe   : "Flo, we didn`t see you!"

Flo        : "Sorry, Maria!."

How are you today my students? Are you fine? Good. Meet me again in English subject with your handsome teacher. He..He.. And still with Our Discovery Island Book, Speaking untuk Unit 4 : Good days & Bad days sudah kalian simak bersama, yang menceritakan Tom yang membuat makan malam yang sampai gagal total. Right, we leave that unit. We are going to the next unit, that is unit 5 : Trips. In this conversation; Hannah, Maria, Flo, Tom, and Felipe had experiences when visit some wonderful places. Bagaimana cerita serunya? Mari kita simak bersama-sama...!!!

Did they enjoy today?

Hannah : "Hi! Did you enjoy the trip today? Didi you like the palace?

Flo        : "Yes, I did. It was great."

Tom      : "Yes, I`ll write about the palace for my history homework."

Hannah : "Good idea, Tom. Here are four tickets for the amusement park tomorrow."

--------- : "Maria, how about you? What did you do today?"

Maria    : "I went to the palace, and the museum was really interesting."

--------- : "Hi, Felipe. We`re planning tomorrow now. What will you do at the amusement park?"

Felipe    : "I think I`ll go on the water slide first."

Tom       : "Yeah, me too!"

Speaking : Good Days & Bad Days

Welcome back again in English subject with me Mr Nashrudin. Unit 3: Where we live, conversation tentang mencari posisi sebuah tempat sudah kita simak bersama, Mr yakin sekarang kalian at least sudah tahu cara memberi arah menuju sebuah lokasi dalam bahasa Inggris. Tapi untuk Unit 4 kita akan membicarakan tentang pengalaman yang menyenangkan dan pengalaman yang tak menyenangkan, Good Days & Bad Days. It`s so interesting, right??? Felipe : "Tom, it`s dinnertime."

Tom    : "Good, I`m really hungry!

--------- "I made some noodles but then I dropped them on the grass!"

Felipe : "Don`t  worry, I cooked a big stew for dinner. Come on. Let`s go."

Speaking : Where we live

How beautiful today...!!! Speaking time...!! Mr yakin kalian tambah semangat lagi di Speaking di Unit 2 : Wildlife Park sudah kita simak bersama Hannah, Maria, Flo, Felipe, and Tom yang mengunjungi kebun binatang. Maka pada unit 3 ini kita mereka akan mencari lokasi tempat Flo berada dengan menunjukkan arah lokasi berada. Sampai Maria, Tom, & Felipe kecapekkan karena harus naik tangga. Bagaimana cerita serunya? Let`s listen their conversation...!!!

Maria : " Phew! 450 steps!"

Tom     : "I`m hot now! I want to go swimming! Where`s the swimming poll?

Felipe : "It`s there---near the movie theater."

Maria : "Then we can go to the park, there., opposite the school. But Where`s the swimming pool?"

Tom     : "Look! She`s there---near the park. What`s she doing?"

Felipe : "She`s buying ice cream, too! Come on!"

Speaking : Wildlife Park

Hi...Hi... Welcome back again in English time. Of course, still with me Mr Nashrudin. Speaking for Unit 1 : Adventure Camp has passed. We`re going to the second unit, that is "Wildlife Park". Huuuu... Takut..!!! Don`t worry and don`t be afraid, though kita dalam bab ini kita akan membahas terkait Wild Animal alias binatang liar. Right, langsung saja kita simak bersama percakapan kelima teman kita; Hannah, Maria, Flo, Felipe, and Tom in the Wildlife Park, the Zoo. Listen the MP3 then speak together...!!!

Hannah : "What did you learn today?".

Felipe   : "We were with the cheetahs. They were really fast!"

Tom      : "Cheetahs are the fastest animals on earth."

Maria   : "I was with snakes. They were really long. On of them is the longest type of snake in the world!."

Flo       : "I was with  the elephant."

Felipe  : "Cool! How big was it?"

Flo       : "Really big, and heavy ... it`s 3,000 kilograms! And it was really naughty!"

Speaking : Adventure Camp

Hi class, meet me again in English subject in level 6. Our Discovery Island Book adalah buku yang kita pakai di tahun ini. OK, langsung saja pada meeting pertama ini kita akan membahas sebuah tema tentang Camping alias Berkemah. But, in this time kita akan menyimak Speaking-percakapan (Conversation) terkait persiapan sebelum kita Camping. Are you ready? Listen and Speak together...!!!

Hannah : "Hi, I`m Hannah. Welcome to this summer`s adventure camp. OK, I can see your sleeping bags, but who has tent, poles, and pegs?".

Tom      : "I have the tent, Felipe has the poles, and Maria has the pegs".

Flo        : "I have a big flashlight and four compasses".

Hannah : "OK. Let`s pitch the tent and make a campfire".

Flo        : "Great!".

Hannah : "This is the week`s schedule. There`s lots to so".
